Strategy and Execution
The definition of an appropriate business growth strategy, the development of innovative operational models and the design of programs that could reach them, are services that our team at AG Consulting provides so that our clients can expand their competitive advantages in a sustainable manner and obtain the results that they are trying to achieve.
The strategic process is based on the Mission of a company and its long term Vision, trying to develop a strategy for a period of time, in the following three complementary stages:

Definition of strategic objectives:
The philosophy of a company is based on its Mission (the set of values), which will frame its actions. Then, we must establish medium to long term objectives to develop current businesses and reach future ones.

Strategic Planning:
Once the frame and the objectives have been established, several possible strategies are formulated and the one that fits the style and aspirations of the company is chosen. The organizational structure is analyzed and designed to reach that strategy.

Strategic Execution:
During this stage, the necessary actions to achieve the effective compliance of the strategy are designed. Also, the mechanisms that control compliance and efficiency are contemplated.
This process of strategic direction is not static, since it requires a continuous decision making review, analyzing in advance what to do, how and when to do it and who will do it.
At AG Consulting we consider strategy to be a roadmap and a concrete definition of which roads and shortcuts to take. We consider a strategy to be the designation of actions to specific individuals within the company, who are provided with the necessary tools to reach the objectives expected by the organization.
Execution: A discipline to "achieve" goals
The execution of the strategy is the key factor to succeed; it is what differentiates our clients.
While every company has a strategy, most also have a giant execution deficit. The reality is that it´s almost impossible to get everyone in your organization to take the right actions, at the right time, to achieve successful results.
As companies scrutinize performance in demanding market conditions, leaders are increasingly analyzing their abilities to execute on strategy.
In the past, leaders were called upon to deliver the strategic vision, and managers were expected to handle the details that turn that vision into reality. Nowadays, that has changed. Execution is the process that turns strategies and plans into actions in order to accomplish strategic objectives and goals. Execution of the plan, ideas or projects is as or even more important, than the statement of the strategy.
Disciplines like strategy, leadership development, and innovation are appealing aspects of being at the helm of a successful business. But the ultimate difference between a company and its competitor is the ability to execute.
Execution is "the missing link between aspirations and results," and making it happen is a leader´s most important job. While failure in today´s business environment is often attributed to other causes, we argue that the biggest obstacle to success is lack of execution.
Execution is a discipline that should encompass more than the tactical part of business.
